Tour the Berkeley Campus

Walking Tours for Individuals and Families

UC Berkeley Visitor & Parent Services offers several types of free walking tours of the campus almost every day of the year.  Led by expert student ambassadors who know the university and the nuances of student life, a campus tour is ideal for students interested in attending Berkeley, tourists, nostalgic alumni, and anyone wishing to learn more about the university. Tours are conducted rain or shine.

These walking tours are for individuals, families, and parties of up to nine people. If you are a school group or organization, a party of 10 people or more, or if you wish a private tour, please go to the Group/ Private Tour Page for more information.

All tours require an online reservation.  The online calendar includes all the free walking tours.  Please read the descriptions below before making your reservation to ensure you are reserving the correct tour.  If the name of your tour does not appear on the date of your choice, it means the tour is not being offered that day or time or that it is full.
